Meet Milady Tshandu-Limetyeni

Hi, I'm Milady Tshandu-Limetyeni, a Business Travel Counsellor based in Sandton, Johannesburg; though my clients are based far and wide, and distance has never gotten in the way of great service. Outside of managing corporate travel programmes, I'm a busy (and very happy) wife and mother of two energetic boys, so I understand better than most how valuable it is to have someone reliable handling the details while you focus on what matters most.

Experience
I've spent 18+ years in the travel industry, with deep experience in luxury and corporate travel across Southern and East Africa, working closely with high-net-worth and corporate clients to deliver precise, high-stakes travel management. I'm Galileo trained, alongside extensive training on Travel Counsellors' systems. This means that I am backed by real technical depth, not just goodwill.

What I Love
I love knowing that when a client is booking with me, they're booking with someone who has the experience to handle it; whether that's a straightforward itinerary or a last-minute crisis. There's nothing quite like turning an impossible deadline (a visa needed overnight, a flight rebooked mid-disruption) into a non-event for a client who never even has to worry about it.

I became a Travel Counsellor because I always wanted to run my own business, on my own terms, while still offering my clients the calibre of service they deserve. The backup and support behind me from Travel Counsellors is phenomenal; from ticketing and financial protection to a global community of over 2,200 Travel Counsellors across the world I can call on for anything, from recommending a great hotel to solving a problem on the ground, wherever in the world my client happens to be. Furthermore, Travel Counsellors is a level 3 Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) contributor, is a licensed and fully bonded travel agent member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as well as a member of the Association of Southern Africa Travel Agents (ASATA). That support is what frees me to focus 100% on my clients, which is exactly what I love doing.

I'm also available outside normal office hours, because business travel doesn't stop at 5pm and neither do I.
