Hello and welcome to my page. I’m Mandy Gathercole and am based in Clarens, Free State. I would love to assist with any of your business travel arrangements, no matter where you are based.

Since completing my diploma in Travel and Tourism in 1988, I have worked for various travel management companies, looking after corporate clients, and have also spent several years working for a large corporate company as their dedicated Travel Manager.

Whilst there, I engaged with senior management within various divisions to streamline their spend, negotiated with and managed travel vendors on behalf of their Supply Chain division, and assisted with travel policy implementation and traveller behaviour, as well as the procure-to-pay process, credit card reconciliation, travel insurance policy and Duty of Care.

I have completed various courses over and above the standard booking system and travel-related topics, including the NQF4 National Certificate of Management, Optimising the Procurement of Travel and Associated Services, and Situational Leadership.

Throughout my career, I have travelled to a number of destinations, including India, Australia, the USA, New Zealand, Indonesia, Thailand and the United Kingdom.

I am passionate about personalised service and very excited to be part of the Travel Counsellors team, with over 2,200 colleagues to support and assist me. Our technology places us ahead of the competition.
