My name is Bertie Loubser, and I’m an Independent Business Travel Counsellor based in the northern suburbs of Cape Town. I’m married and am the proud father of two beautiful boys!

I started my career in the travel industry in 1981 with South African Airways and worked as a senior travel consultant and later manager of various agencies in the Western Cape. I am now proud to be my own “boss” working with the support of the world’s largest travel home-working agency, Travel Counsellors.

During my 31 years in the travel industry I’ve had the opportunity to travel to most parts of the world, from New York to Timbuktu. Not only did I visit many destinations but I also experienced many types of travel and holidays. One of the highlights of my travel adventures was taking a break for a year to travel overland from Cape Town to London in an old diesel Landover threw 25 countries covering 35000km.
