How did your journey with Travel Counsellors for Business begin? 

I’ve been with Travel Counsellors for Business since 2017 and have worked in a number of different roles including sales, business development, account management, and recruitment.   

 

Why did you want to work for Travel Counsellors for Business? 

I was drawn to Travel Counsellors for Business because of their unique approach to corporate travel management. It focuses on personalised service and building client relationships rather than simply fulfilling travel bookings. The opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company that values innovation and client satisfaction was really appealing to me. 

 

What does a typical day look like for you in your role? 

A typical day in my role involves a mix of client meetings, engaging with new clients, and collaboration with my team. I spend time supporting clients’ travel needs, developing tailored solutions, and staying updated on industry trends to provide the best advice and support to our clients. 

 

What do you enjoy most about your job? 

What I enjoy most about my job is the ability to make a real impact on our clients' travel experiences. Seeing the positive results of our tailored travel management solutions and knowing that we help businesses operate more efficiently and effectively is very rewarding. Additionally, I love the dynamic nature of the travel industry and the continuous opportunities for learning and growth. 

 

What do you enjoy doing away from work? 

Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring new destinations. Travelling is both a personal and professional passion, and I love experiencing different cultures and cuisines. I also enjoy staying active through sports and outdoor activities. 

 

What challenges do you think businesses are facing when it comes to their travel management programmes? 

Businesses today face several challenges with their travel management programmes, including cost control, ensuring traveller safety and wellbeing, and keeping up with rapidly changing travel policies and regulations. Balancing the need for flexibility with the need for cost efficiency is another major challenge, especially in the current global travel landscape.
