I’m Matt, a corporate travel specialist with more than two decades of experience supporting businesses through every stage of their travel needs. With over 20 years in travel management including eight years at Travel Counsellors’ Head Office, where I spent four years as Head of Sales and Service, I bring deep industry knowledge, operational insight and leadership experience to every client partnership.

Away from work, I’m married, a proud father of two girls, and based in Chester, where family life keeps me grounded and reminds me why personalised, human led service matters so much in everything I do.

My career has taken me through several leading Travel Management Companies, giving me the opportunity to work with organisations of all sizes, from small businesses with occasional trips to large corporates managing complex, high volume travel programmes. Today, I run my own business powered by Travel Counsellors for Business, giving me the flexibility to hand select the perfect Travel Counsellor to support each client. This ensures every organisation receives a highly personalised, high touch service tailored to its unique needs.

My role is to help companies build business travel strategies that genuinely work for them. I bring together expertise in account management, travel policy design, supplier negotiations, technology solutions and programme optimisation to create travel frameworks that are efficient, cost‑effective and supportive of traveller wellbeing. Sustainability is also a core part of this approach; I help organisations integrate responsible travel practices and provide clear ESG and carbon emissions reporting, giving you the insight needed to make informed, environmentally conscious decisions without compromising on operational needs. Every organisation is different, so I take the time to understand your goals and shape a travel approach that delivers real, measurable value.
