The first 8 years of my career were spent as an officer in the British Army within the Royal Logistic Corps, specialising in logistics and passenger movement in fast‑paced operational environments. From planning complex movements to reacting quickly when circumstances changed, I learned how to keep people and plans moving smoothly, even under pressure.

I then moved into the private sector, managing manufacturing logistics contracts and supply chain operations, again in fast‑paced, time‑critical settings. Before becoming a Travel Counsellor I ran my family’s hospitality business, gaining first‑hand insight into how great guest experiences are created and the importance of strong relationships with trusted suppliers.

This blend of logistics discipline and hospitality experience shapes the way I work today. I understand what it takes to keep business travel on track, and I also know how important the little details are when someone finally checks in to their hotel or arrives at their destination.
