My name is Dave Jopling and I have recently joined Travel Counsellors working from my home town of York. I have lived in the York area on and off for over 40 years. If I have ever had to move away for whatever reason, I have always had the urge to move back - it's just a great place to live and work.

I have been employed in the Travel Industry for 34 years of which 31 years have been spent in the Corporate Travel sector. During this time I have lived and worked all over the country and have been providing all the various travel products from the more complicated flight itineraries with hotels and car hire to passport and visa information and everything in between. I have serviced some of the largest business travel accounts in the UK with travel spends in the millions and also for individual business people who may only travel a couple of times a year. Every booking is important to me, regardless of value.

I have been very fortunate over the years due to being in the travel industry to have travelled all over the world. These experiences have enabled me to gather invaluable knowledge on a vast array of destinations. I have my favourite places to visit and they are nearly all in the Far East. They include Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Japan. But for a holiday the Greek Islands just cannot in my opinion be beaten.

Although I specialise in business travel, I ca also assist in any leisure or holiday enquiry you may have because of Travel Counsellors superb technology.
