Hello! I’m Jo Harris and I’m a Kent based corporate and leisure Travel Counsellor.

I have over 17 years of experience in the travel industry, having worked in sales, high street travel agencies, field staff management and guest journey management for a variety of well-known travel brands. I have won multiple awards over this time for epitomising company values and for delivering high levels of sales whilst delighting my clients and customers with my personalised service. I started my own business with Travel Counsellors for several reasons – to be able to work alongside 2000 other business owners with our own areas of expertise, having the best technology and head office support, and being able to be present for my family too.

At Travel Counsellors, we have won Queen’s Awards for Enterprise and were proud to top several polls by MoneySavingExpert about the care we gave our clients during the pandemic, especially around cancellations and advice on refunds . We offer accurate MI for our clients and take pride in offering service on a truly personal level. We get to know the business, its employees and its goals and strategies; so we mould our approach to fit the client, not the other way round like a lot of travel management companies. Unlike many TMCs who pay a team of staff to look after corporate travel requirements, I am completely independent in how I work and am available at times to suit you. Travel Counsellors have a UK based duty office that is available 24/7 for assistance out of hours if required, and this along with our unique financial trust with the Lloyds banking group ensures you can have complete peace of mind that your booking is financially secure – something not seen with many other travel organisations.

I am also able to offer a leisure booking service to my corporate clients, with a wide range of trusted suppliers along with special offers and direct contracts with hotels. I am delighted to offer all manner of holidays from UK short breaks and self-catering accommodations, to round the world cruises, ski holidays, adventure travel, complex multi-centre itineraries and much more.

I’m based in Kent, and service London and the South East of England directly. I also have clients all over the country and some internationally.
